The business generalist major at the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba provides managerial insight across a broad spectrum of topics and essentially allows the student to leverage the unique elements of all majors offered at the Asper School of Business. Students are able to focus on the area of business that is of the most interest to them and their situation. In addition, there are numerous opportunities outside the classroom for students to further develop their leadership and management skills through student groups, conferences and connections with the business community. The programs offer co-operative education (co-op) options that allow students the opportunity to gain practical paid work experience in their study. Asper School of Business has one of the largest co-op program on campus.
