Lebanese American University
The Lebanese American University is a private university operating in Lebanon since 1924 under the Charter from the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and accredited by New England Association of schools and Colleges (NEASC). With two campuses in Beirut and Byblos, and a Headquarter and Academic Center in New York, LAU offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate degree programs through its seven schools: Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. With more than 80 nationalities represented on both campuses, LAU’s student body consists of more than 8500 students. Many services and programs are provided to students to help them grow socially, emotionally and academically. These services range from the New Student Orientation Program to professional advising, career guidance, health services and counseling. The residence halls on both campuses provide students with well-equipped places to live in. In an effort to make valuable education affordable, LAU offers various financial aid and scholarship packages.
